I've been doing this booking stuff for more than 4 years now and it's been life changing in many ways. Put on some great shows and got involved in VOID Fest, travelled a lot and saw some beautiful cities and countries all over europe, met some fantastic people (which some of became real good friends over the years) and of course - met so many great bands and musicians!
It's always been a hobby i've been doing in my spare time just for bands i really loved. Even though i made some real good connections over the years and all tours worked out well, i've never been able to take the next step and do it more professional.
Well things change and now i'm very happy to announce that from now on there's no more MrMinikBooking - but i won't stop working.
You may have heard of the fantastic tourbooking company named MAGNIFICENT MUSIC based in Berlin (who for example did KADAVAR and THE FLYING EYES Tours last year(s)). We've been in contact for a long time i now got offered to work as a agent for MM!

Clawing their way out of the dank blackness of their riff research
laboratory and hungry for the flesh of new twisted listeners, Gonga
bring forth a new offering – a Concrescence.
In the five years since their last outpouring of un-anchored HeavyRock, Transmigration, Gonga managed to lose/fire/upset every bass player in the region. Brothers Thomas (dramatic battery) and George (riff philosophy) having survived war and mental abuse from the outside world found a new phenomenon walking the golden triangle right in front of their (third) eyes; a specialist in detail – you could say a time-stretch professional. And so, Latch self-sacrificed himself to the group before he even joined; the perfect combination of Geezer Butler and Cliff Burton muttering arcane wisdom.
A trinity of Earth forms was instantly created; bull, goat, ram. The strength of the triangle allowed the 3 to set about HeavyRock construction. Without singer the aim became to create aural landscapes for band and listener to use as a launchpad for remote viewing, for mental and spiritual enlightenment and for emotional therapy. One could refer to it as instrumental HeavyRock for the philosophical connoisseur.
Riff research and late night experimentations led the trio into unexplored territories of voiceless riff/rhythm. Years passed and the brew grew strong, as did the urge to commit the aural paintings to vinyl.
Six tracks, two sides - Concrescence, a region of complexity in comparison to its surroundings.

I'm very proud to announce that one of Swedens finest and again one of MrMiniks jewels called the BLUES PILLS are going to hit the stage at 2013s ROADBURN FESTIVAL!
In addition to this sweet news the band also announced today that they're going to enter the studio and record the eagerly awaited first full-lengh album soon!

We’re very pleased to announce that Sweden’s Blues Pills will be making their appearance at Roadburn Festival 2013 on Thursday, April 18 at the 013 venue in Tilburg, Holland.After their abrupt departure from Radio Moscow, drummer Cory Berry and bass player Zack Anderson grouped with classical-trained Swedish lead singer Elin Larsson and French guitar player Dorian Sorriaux to form Blues Pills, a dynamic hybrid between blues rock of the 60s and the heavy 70s. Think heavy, driving bass lines, colossal drums and ferocious, riff based, soul-penetrating guitar work, tied together by the incredible soulful voice of Larsson, sometimes singing in her mother tongue, and whose timbre, range and power is reminiscent of Susan Tedeschi and Janis Joplin.
Blues Pills‘ sound is very diverse as shown on Bliss, their 4-track debut for Crusher Records. The band has put lots of emphasis on both dynamics and emotion by bringing out beautiful harmonics, escaping the the typical 12-bar form for Peter Green‘s Fleetwood Mac-inspired melodies and a more progressive Zeppelin-like structure.
With our fondness for Swedish rock (we have invited the likes of Witchcraft, Graveyard, Dead Man, Horisont, Troubled Hourse, Spiders et al to previous festivals) it’s not surprising that Blues Pills are appearing at Roadburn 2013 and not just because they are Swedish…but because they bring out the best heavy 70s inspired rock we have heard in a long time.
Roadburn Festival 2013 will run for four days from Thursday, April 18th to Sunday, April 21st, 2013 (the traditional Afterburner event) at the 013 venue in Tilburg, Holland.

members are: Andreas Eriksson on guitar, Mikael Läth on drums,
Anders Tallfors on bass guitar and Stefan Norén, known from
BLOWBACK, on guitar and vocals.

CAPTAIN CRIMSON get their inspiration from bands such as Cactus, Leaf Hound,
Truth and Janey and the Swedish band November. Captain Crimson
describes their music as heavy riff with a touch of blues.
The
music brought them together and in February 2012 they recorded their
first album called Dancing
Madly Backwards.
The album will be released by Transubstans records in the summer of
2012.
In
order to promote the record, CAPTAIN CRIMSON will be touring europe
at the end of september!

Since the departure of their former drummer in 2010 Asteroid has been planning their return!
And now the time has finally come, with the talents of Henrik Jansson behind the drum kit the band is stronger than ever!
As they embark on “The Mighty Asteroid Travelling Show”, a tour that
will take them all across Europe during 2012, they bring with them a new
7” consisting of two tracks that show the more bluesy side to their
signature style of 70’s hard/psychedelic rock!
The song “Move a
Mountain” has all the elements of a classic Asteroid track! A hard
hitting blues anthem with lots of brilliant jams and a smooth spacious
chorus.
“One foot in the Grave” is the shortest Asteroid song
to date and probably the fastest as well. A pure delight for those fond
of heavy folk rock and psychedelic grooves! It has been showing up in
live sets for some time.
The single will be for sale
exclusively on “The Mighty Asteroid Travelling Show” so make sure to

The Mighty ASTEROID Travelling Show 2012!
After the split release with Blowback back in 2006, the first full length in 2007 and the sophomore album in 2010 - Asteroid are now one of the leading stoner/psychedelic rock bands in Europe and famous for bringing new sounds and ideas to the genre with their wide mix of 70's rock, blues and Swedish folk.
The band has spent a lot of time touring in countries which include Sweden, England, Finland and Central Europe, shared the stage with such bands as Graveyard, My Sleeping Karma, Abramis Brama and Witchcraft. They have also played several big festivals (for example the well known Stoned from the Underground).
Now after a line-up change in early 2011 and finding a new drummer in Henrik Jansson - the time has come - ASTEROID strikes again.
They are now in the process of recording the eagerly awaited 7" and rehearsing new tracks for the next full length album, which is scheduled to be recorded in late 2012.

BLUES PILLS - new band on MrMinikBooking Roster
After departing from Radio Moscow in september 2011, drummer Cory Berry and bass player Zack Anderson joined up with Swedish lead singer Elin Larsson and Swedish drummer Jonas Askerlund and have played together since then as BLUES PILLS!
Fresh & energetic, a new incarnation - Cory Berry & Zack Anderson, the former rhythm section of Radio Moscow, have a refreshing new take to the timeless and unquestionably noble art of Rock 'N Roll.
First thing to note: this band is a Swedish-American hybrid like there has not been before. Heavy, driving bass lines, colossal drums (via Jonas Moses Askerlund, drummer of Swedish band Dead Man), and Berry's ferocious, riff based, soul-penetrating guitar work are a sublime compliment to the vocalist. Tied together by the soulful Elin Larson (sometimes singing in her mother-tongue), her stage presence gives one the impression of being seduced by some Valkyrie's love song — or maybe her battle cry.
Be the first of your friends to see this epic new group out of Iowa, soon to become a common name in the rock scene. Keep your ear to the ground for their debut album, coming out this year!

Followers of the fuzz, rejoice! Mars Red Sky, hailing from Bordeaux, France, have been confirmed for Roadburn Festival 2012.
The band’s self-titled debut ranks amongst the very best releases in the current bumper crop of European heavy, jam-based psychedelia. However, Mars Red Sky eschew jamming into oblivion in favour of quality songs, underpinned by a massive groove and topped off by the sweet, high-pitched croon of guitarist Julian Pras or bassist Jimmy Kinast’s bluesy David Eugene Edwards-style vocals.
Superficially, the band isn’t cutting edge, but it’s Mars Red Sky‘s ability to craft infectious hooks, subdued melodies and the lack of ego masturbation by the individual musicians that sets them apart from their peers, and turn their fuzz-fronted, memorable riff-explorations into a riff-worshippers dream. Mars Red Sky will play on Saturday, April 14 at the 013 venue.
Besides this more than awesome confirmation the band has also been confirmed for Mudfest in Holland & Freak Valley Festival in Germany!

JOHNFISH SPARKLE was born at the end of March 2008 by Dave Perilli on Bass guitar, RobGasoline on Drums and Al Serra on Vocals and Lead Guitars. The Sound of Johnfish Sparkle it's a genuine mix of blues, rock and many other styles.
They entered the Studio during summer to record their First Album and got signed for swedish label Transubstans Records. Getting lots of good Reviews from Maga- & Webzines J.F. played many live shows last years and constantly grew their fanbase.
In october 2011 the power-trio strikes back with their second effort - FLOW!
Ingredients are always the same: Bluesrock, classic riffs mixed with a modern taste to make the whole sound more attractive.
You will not be disappointed by their excellent wall of sound! 10 tracks of pure Zeppelinesque/bluesrock energy! Maybe almost unique in their genre around Italy these days!
THREE SEASONS are Sartez (ex SIENA ROOT vocalist) ob guitar and vocals, Olle on bass and Christian on drums.

Good eve everyone,
it is withing great proud that i can tell that MARS RED SKY from France chose MrMinik to put on a small tour in November! (16.-27.11. for details look at dates&avails section).
MARS RED SKY is a french stoner/psychedelic rock band from Bordeaux.
On a winter night in 2007, Julien Pras and Jimmy Kinast met at a tiny club in Bordeaux for the Berlin Vs Brooklyn show, a repetitive math-rock duet. The surprise that awaits them is huge: behind his drums, Benoit Busser is a perfect fusion of John Bonham and Todd Trainer. Blown away by his technique, Julien and Jimmy will imagine on their side the band they could form together and finally achieve their musical fantasies.By this time, Julien Pras was currently promoting the 5th album of his band Calc and was dreaming of a noisy psychedelia with Big muff pedals and plenty of reverberated guitars. On his side, Jimmy Kinast who held his bass during the 90’s in several noisy pop bands is feeding the same desire.It won’t take long before benoit et Julien will start working together. After three jubilant and productive rehearsals ( two tracks are then developed) Jimmy join them behind the bass.Obssesed by the 70’s, from Black Sabbath to Led zeppelin, and more recently by Dead Meadows and the band witch, the three of them will form Mars Red Sky…
The alchemy is here and they will soon be writing many songs together. Jimmy and Julien are sharing the microphone, their universe is heavy and aerial at the same time, especially based on the use of a particular tuning, a good half-dozen semitones below normal.
Encouraged by the first concerts they played in Bordeaux and the response they received from a well surprised audience, they decided to record their songs properly, in the stones of this magical Spanish place called the Bardenas desert.
Pierre Fillon, in charge of the recording and the mixing, will help to shape and colour the whole project.
In 2011, Mars Red Sky is finally ready to conquer the clubs all over Europe.
Opening act for the great Sleepy Sun from San Francisco, Tweak Bird, Shannon Wirght, A Place To Bury Strangers, Earth and Killing Joke at the Bataclan In Paris. After a tour in Germany and Netherland next June, Mars Red Sky will also play Les Eurockennes 2011 Festival on July the 2nd with Queen Of The Stone Age, Motorhead and Kyuss Lives!

The history laden quartet play high energy, no-nonsense rock ‘n roll and are no strangers to the road.
Formed in 2005 by Chris Cockrell A.K.A Vic du Monte (Ex-Kyuss), Alfredo Hernandez (Ex-Kyuss & Queens of the Stone Age) and English musician/producer James Childs, who has worked with members from Portishead to Motorhead. Vic and Alfredo are pioneers of the desert generator parties that gave rise to the now legendary Kyuss. By association the band went on to release their debut album on fellow Kyuss member Brant Bjork’s Duna Records.
After the band’s initial US & European tours, Cargo Records in Germany signed the band for their subsequent eponymous release and the band remained on the road in Europe throughout 2005/6. In 2007, they began work on their self-released “Autoblond” album which won the attention of even more rock and roll fans and critics alike, including their current label Go Down Records.
The “Split Connection” Ep was released in 2009 followed by more touring as the band’s relationship with their Italian label grew.
Along with their new addition of bassist Dylan Roche (Brant Bjork & The Bros), VIC DU MONTE'S PERSONA NON GRATA are poised to garner legions of new fans in Europe and beyond with the release of their third album:
“Barons & Bankers”.

Coming from Estonia's capital Tallinn, duo has been conquering the world actively since 2008.
With Magnus Andre on bass guitar, synths, vocals and Jarmo Nuutre on drums, vocals and sometimes them both with some other lovely gadgets, Talbot has created a unique sound of their own - massive, atmospheric and noisy with a nice amount of psychedelia on top of it.
Duo loves to DIY. Besides Magnus being responsible for recording, Talbot also
self-released their EP "Tundra" in 2008 and album "EOS" in 2010 under Jarmo's label - Talk Left-Handed. The band is also managed by Jarmo, and books their own gigs and tours.
"Tundra" was later re-released as a limited edition by ConSouling Sounds and "EOS" re-released by Slow Burn Records, and nominated for the Best Metal album of 2010 at Estonian Music Awards.
After touring in Australia, Russia and several times in Europe, Talbot is currently planning the bigger steps. Writing new material, organizing a lot of next tours etc.

THE ENTRANCE BAND (LosAngeles,USA) TOUR DATES ANNOUNCEMENT
Ladies & Gentelemen,
this time MrMinik & Swamp Booking are proud to announce The Entrance Band EU-Tour dates!
The band around Guy Blakeslee (vocals, guitar), Paz Lenchantin [ex-A Perfect Circle/Zwan] (bass) and Derek James (drums) has been invited to play ATP Fest in U.K. & DunaJam in Sardegna mid-june and is now hitting the eu...ropean roads around those festival dates to please your ears! (tour shedule below)
Well what can be said of the perfect combination of elements found in this trio? That there is no one part of this entity that could exist with out its counter point. Each member's individual language could be observed as highly advanced in skill and filled with it's own particular nuance and rare inflections. But they have chosen to operate in a song writing process and a live exemplification where each player's contribution is a complete necessity to the sound and voice of The Entrance Band as a whole. They utilize a unique blend of improvisational modes to hack away at traditional rock structures by applying tenants of eastern raga, psychedelia, non structural noise and free jazz to the solidly built homes of blues, punk, rock n' roll and dance music.
Join them this spring and early summer as they tour playing all new material as well as favorites from their records The Entrance Band (Ecstatic Peace), Prayer of Death(TeePee) and the recently released 45 I WANT YOU (Black Tent Press).
