The Mighty ASTEROID Travelling Show 2012!

After the split release with Blowback back in 2006, the first full length in 2007 and the sophomore album in 2010 - Asteroid are now one of the leading stoner/psychedelic rock bands in Europe and famous for bringing new sounds and ideas to the genre with their wide mix of 70's rock, blues and Swedish folk.
The band has spent a lot of time touring in countries which include Sweden, England, Finland and Central Europe, shared the stage with such bands as Graveyard, My Sleeping Karma, Abramis Brama and Witchcraft. They have also played several big festivals (for example the well known Stoned from the Underground).
Now after a line-up change in early 2011 and finding a new drummer in Henrik Jansson - the time has come - ASTEROID strikes again.
They are now in the process of recording the eagerly awaited 7" and rehearsing new tracks for the next full length album, which is scheduled to be recorded in late 2012.

The Mighty Asteroid Travelling Show starts at Desertfest London in April and continues with a central European tour May/June - be prepared!

BLUES PILLS - new band on MrMinikBooking Roster

After departing from Radio Moscow in september 2011, drummer Cory Berry and bass player Zack Anderson joined up with Swedish lead singer Elin Larsson and Swedish drummer Jonas Askerlund and have played together since then as BLUES PILLS!

Fresh & energetic, a new incarnation - Cory Berry & Zack Anderson, the former rhythm section of Radio Moscow, have a refreshing new take to the timeless and unquestionably noble art of Rock 'N Roll.

First thing to note: this band is a Swedish-American hybrid like there has not been before. Heavy, driving bass lines, colossal drums (via Jonas Moses Askerlund, drummer of Swedish band Dead Man), and Berry's ferocious, riff based, soul-penetrating guitar work are a sublime compliment to the vocalist. Tied together by the soulful Elin Larson (sometimes singing in her mother-tongue), her stage presence gives one the impression of being seduced by some Valkyrie's love song — or maybe her battle cry.

Be the first of your friends to see this epic new group out of Iowa, soon to become a common name in the rock scene. Keep your ear to the ground for their debut album, coming out this year!

Mars Red Sky confirmed for Roadburn Festival / Mudfest & Freak Valley Festival 2012

Followers of the fuzz, rejoice! Mars Red Sky, hailing from Bordeaux, France, have been confirmed for Roadburn Festival 2012.

The band’s self-titled debut ranks amongst the very best releases in the current bumper crop of European heavy, jam-based psychedelia. However, Mars Red Sky eschew jamming into oblivion in favour of quality songs, underpinned by a massive groove and topped off by the sweet, high-pitched croon of guitarist Julian Pras or bassist Jimmy Kinast’s bluesy David Eugene Edwards-style vocals.
Superficially, the band isn’t cutting edge, but it’s Mars Red Sky‘s ability to craft infectious hooks, subdued melodies and the lack of ego masturbation by the individual musicians that sets them apart from their peers, and turn their fuzz-fronted, memorable riff-explorations into a riff-worshippers dream. Mars Red Sky will play on Saturday, April 14 at the 013 venue.







Besides this more than awesome confirmation the band has also been confirmed for Mudfest in Holland & Freak Valley Festival in Germany!
